Alex's one act play won a cash prize as the runner up of the national Judith Barlow Prize by History Matters/Back to the Future, an organization dedicated to celebrating historic women's plays.
It went on to receive a full production in the NYC One-Act Festival by the Complete Theatre Co at the Producer's Club.
